Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team. This role offers an opportunity to provide vital mental health services across various settings, including outpatient clinics, telehealth platforms, and community outreach programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical counseling, crisis intervention, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards.
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and evidence-based practices.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy.
- Engage in crisis management and intervention to ensure patient safety during acute episodes or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans for clients with co-occurring disorders or complex needs.
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems effectively for patient care documentation, progress notes, and data collection.
- Participate in ongoing research initiatives or case management activities aimed at improving treatment outcomes.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as an LSW or LPC with current certification in good standing.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities; pediatric experience is highly valued.
- Proficiency in psychotherapy modalities such as motivational interviewing, behavioral health interventions, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and trauma-focused therapy.
- Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical terminology for accurate documentation and billing purposes.
- Strong skills in crisis intervention, behavior management, and client communication across diverse populations.
- Experience working within outpatient settings, inpatient facilities, or telehealth platforms is preferred.
- Knowledge of clinical research methodologies and familiarity with medical records management is advantageous.
- Ability to adhere to clinical documentation standards while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA regulations.

Pay: $27.19 - $32.74 per hour
