Position Overview
A growing behavioral health organization in Alamogordo, New Mexico is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join its clinical team.
This position provides an opportunity to deliver individual, family, and group behavioral health services to a diverse patient population while working collaboratively with medical and behavioral health professionals. The ideal candidate will be committed to improving access to quality behavioral healthcare in the Alamogordo community.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and clinical evaluations.
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling based on patient needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and establish measurable treatment goals.
- Provide evidence-based interventions for depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and other behavioral health conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Provide crisis intervention and appropriate safety/risk assessments.
- Coordinate care with primary care providers, psychiatric providers, case managers, and community resources.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Provide patient and family education regarding behavioral health conditions and available resources.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and care coordination activities.
- Assist patients with connecting to community, social-service, and behavioral health resources.
- Maintain compliance with applicable clinical, ethical, licensing, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- LPCC, LCSW, or LMSW license in New Mexico.
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related behavioral health discipline.
- Experience providing behavioral health counseling and clinical services.
- Strong assessment, treatment-planning, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while functioning effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with underserved or rural populations is preferred.
- Experience with substance use disorders, trauma, or integrated behavioral health is a plus.
Compensation
$73,000–$95,000 annually, depending on licensure, experience, and qualifications.
