LPC Resident in Counseling - Outpatient Therapist

Connections4Life Professional Therapy Services is seeking a compassionate, motivated Resident in Counseling to join our growing trauma-focused private practice in Leesburg, Virginia.

Graduate Counseling Students

Students currently enrolled in a CACREP-accredited Clinical Mental Health Counseling program are welcome to contact Connections4Life directly regarding separate practicum and internship training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychotherapy to adolescents and adults.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain timely and ethical clinical documentation.
• Participate in supervision, consultation, and ongoing professional development.
• Deliver compassionate, trauma-informed, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Resident in Counseling registration.
• Master’s degree in Counseling or related mental health field.
• Passion for trauma-informed care and lifelong learning.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Interest in mentoring counseling students is valued.
• EMDR training, experience, or active pursuit of training preferred, but not required.
