About Us
Inner Reflections Therapy \& Wellness is a growing private practice in North Chesterfield. We're looking for Residents in Counseling ready to grow their clinical skills in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment.
Role Overview
As a Resident in Counseling, you'll provide individual counseling services under supervision while completing your residency hours toward LPC licensure. You'll carry a caseload of clients presenting with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions, etc., with the flexibility to see clients both in-person and via telehealth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, couples, or family counseling sessions using evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, etc.)
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in our EHR system
- Participate in regular individual and/or group supervision toward licensure requirements
- Collaborate with the practice owner on case consultation as needed
- Uphold ethical and legal standards per the Virginia Board of Counseling
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from a CACREP-accredited (or equivalent) program
- Active registration as a Resident in Counseling with the Virginia Board of Counseling
- Ability to work under supervision toward full LPC licensure
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or interest in working with individuals, couples, families, or niches of your choice
- Familiarity with CBT or trauma-informed approaches
- Experience with telehealth platforms and EHR systems
