LPC/ LPC-Associate – Remote Group Therapist

The Unscripted Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking Texas LPC-Associates interested in providing virtual group therapy as part of an expanding group-practice partnership.

This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys facilitating groups, wants to increase clinical hours, and would prefer to focus on providing therapy rather than finding and marketing to clients independently.

Compensation

$50 per completed 60-minute virtual group therapy session

Clinicians may have the opportunity to facilitate approximately 10–15 groups per week, depending on clinician availability, client demand, and available group assignments. There is no guaranteed minimum number of sessions.

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity.

What Makes This Opportunity Different

The referral platform supporting this program handles much of the work surrounding the clinical session, including:

• Client acquisition and marketing
• Scheduling
• Billing
• Administrative support
• Technology and platform operations
• Ongoing efforts to fill and maintain groups as openings occur

Your primary responsibility is providing high-quality clinical care and completing appropriate documentation.

What You'll Do

• Facilitate 60-minute virtual therapy groups
• Create a welcoming, structured, and therapeutically appropriate group environment
• Maintain professional boundaries and group confidentiality
• Complete required clinical documentation in a timely manner
• Assess and respond appropriately to clinical or safety concerns
• Participate in practice communication as needed
• Maintain ethical and professional standards consistent with Texas licensing requirements

Who We're Looking For

Applicants should:

• Hold an active Texas LPC-Associate license in good standing
• Be authorized to provide clinical services under appropriate Texas supervision
• Be comfortable facilitating virtual therapy groups
• Have strong communication and group-management skills
• Be comfortable working with diverse adult populations
• Be dependable and able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule
• Have reliable internet and an appropriate private setting for telehealth services
• Maintain professional liability insurance as required by the practice

Previous group therapy experience is preferred but is not required for a strong candidate with appropriate clinical experience and an interest in developing group facilitation skills.

Schedule

This role is designed to be flexible.

We are particularly interested in clinicians who can consistently offer 10–15 group hours per week. Daytime, evening, and some weekend availability may be considered.

Clinicians may identify the blocks of availability they would like to dedicate to this program.
