LPC/LMFT/LCSW

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical counseling, with expertise in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral health. This role involves providing comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, utilizing evidence-based practices within a supportive and ethical environment. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care through innovative treatment planning and collaborative case management.

Duties

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and clinical evaluations, including patient intake and diagnostic coding using ICD-9 and ICD-10 standards.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, art therapy, and behavioral therapy.
• Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to clients with co-occurring disorders, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, grief issues, and chronic pain management.
• Engage in crisis management and crisis intervention to ensure client safety and stabilization during acute episodes.
• Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations while maintaining accurate medical records within EMR/EHR systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical professionals, case managers, educators, and families to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines and ensuring client confidentiality.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to enhance evidence-based practices within the organization.

Requirements

• Valid licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in the respective state or jurisdiction with active certification.
• Demonstrated experience in psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
• Proven ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, geriatrics, and diverse populations.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation standards.
• Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems and telehealth platforms for remote patient care delivery.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients across various age groups while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Familiarity with clinical research protocols, HIPAA compliance requirements, and clinical ethical guidelines related to mental health practice.
• Ability to manage crisis situations effectively while demonstrating strong behavior management skills.
• Willing to work with mandated clients through CPS or Probation.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
