A good candidate for an associate position is someone who enjoys the process of providing therapy and is dedicated to being present with clients while holding the balance between safety and accountability. We are looking for candidates who are committed to the wellbeing of the clients, and are willing to consult and ask questions as often as needed. An associate should be able to work independently--being organized and well-planned regarding timely documentation and client care--while remaining teachable and available for regular consultation.

Associate therapists in this position will work with adults, adolescents, children, and couples seeking mental health care and will work under the supervision of the lead clinician.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Preform Bio/Psycho/Social assessments and us evidence-based screening tools to evaluate client symptoms and needs
• Provide a minimum of 4 therapy sessions per week
• Build and maintain caseloads between 20 - 30 clients
• Complete all clinical documentations for services rendered within 72 hours of completing sessions
• Collaborate with clients to complete and maintain individualized treatment plans, integrating DSM diagnoses
• Perform annual reassessments and quarterly treatment plans
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to ensure client outcomes; and the completion reports upon request
• Coordinate with company admin for client enrollment and scheduling
• Mandatory minimum two days in-office sessions

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work and Intern Number with BBS
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Successful motor vehicle background check.
• Successful Level II Background Screen, Pre-employment Drug Screen, and TB testing.
• Must live locally in the Riverside/Moreno Valley/Jurupa Area

Expected Hours

• This position will begin at approximately 5 hours per week, with the opportunity for hours to increase gradually as your caseload grows. The rate at which hours expand will depend on client acquisition and retention.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
