LMSW Social Worker - Spanish-Speaking, Flexible Brooklyn Caseload

Position Overview

Harmony Road is seeking a Spanish-speaking LMSW or LCSW to provide supportive counseling and social work services to seniors in Brooklyn.

This is a flexible, relationship-based role working directly with older adults in their homes, senior residences, and community settings. Client assignments are based on your location and availability, so your caseload can be built in a way that is convenient and manageable.

We are looking for someone compassionate, dependable, and comfortable supporting seniors who may be dealing with loneliness, grief, anxiety, depression, dementia-related challenges, chronic illness, family stress, or difficulty adjusting to life changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling and emotional support to seniors
• Visit clients in their homes, senior residences, and community settings
• Conduct assessments and maintain clear documentation
• Support clients with grief, loneliness, anxiety, depression, dementia-related challenges, and chronic illness
• Coordinate with families, residential staff, and care teams as needed
• Provide advocacy, resource navigation, and general support
• Maintain consistent communication with the Harmony Road team

Qualifications

• LMSW or LCSW required
• Spanish-speaking required
• Experience with seniors, mental health, or community-based work preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and able to work independently
• Comfortable traveling locally to assigned clients in Brooklyn

Compensation and Benefits

• $40–$60 per hour, depending on role, license, and experience
• Full-time salary options may be available $65,000–$75,000
• Health insurance and paid time off available for eligible full-time roles
