LMHC - Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Job Title: LMHC or LCSW

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts

Job Type: Part-time - Ongoing assignment

NOTE: The facility is willing to work around a qualified clinician's availability, is open to afternoon hours, and is willing to consider per diem, 1099, or contract clinicians. Qualified clinicians are also welcome to use the facility's space to provide services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assesses client and family to ascertain emotional and social problems. Utilizes psychosocial/SUD assessment tools as a guideline.
• Identifies those issues which must be addressed during the client's care, and formulates plan.
• Reports any and all suspected cases of abuse and neglect and follows up to ensure client receives timely comprehensive consultations and compliance with legal mandates.
• Identifies need to involve client's family through the initial assessment process.
• Consults and collaborates with team members to ensure that client's emotional and social needs are addressed.
• Provides for psychotherapeutic treatment and/or psychosocial support to client and family to reduce the impact of identified problems.

Requirements

• LMHC or LCSW or Master's level in Psych, Education, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years' experience preferred.
• Population is Adolescent
