About the role
Anchor Counseling Services is seeking a compassionate, motivated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) to join our growing practice in Spokane, Washington.
This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is looking to build their professional career in a supportive practice environment while working with a diverse range of clients. Our practice provides counseling services to children, adults, couples, and families, allowing clinicians to develop experience across a variety of presenting concerns and client populations.

Responsibilities
The LMFTA/LMHCA will:
- Provide individual, couples, and family counseling services.
- Provide age-appropriate therapeutic services to children and adolescents as appropriate.
- Complete clinical documentation and maintain accurate client records.
- Develop individualized treatment goals and treatment plans.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards of practice.
- Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and consultation.
- Maintain appropriate communication with clients, families, and other members of the care team when applicable.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development.
- Build and maintain a therapeutic environment that is safe, respectful, and supportive for clients.
Qualifications
Required
- Current LMFTA or LMHCA credential in Washington State.
- Ability to provide counseling services in an in-office setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and client-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of clients and presenting concerns.
Preferred
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and/or families.
- Interest in developing a broad clinical skill set.
- Strong desire for continued professional growth and development.
