Licensed Youth Group Facilitator, LSW/LPC, 2+ Years Required

RBH, a thriving agency in Toledo, OH, is looking for dedicated, licensed Youth Group Facilitators to join our dynamic team. A Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor is REQUIRED for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate group sessions for youth aged 6-15, focusing on emotional and social development.
• Develop and implement engaging activities that promote mental well-being.
• Provide support and guidance to youth, helping them navigate their challenges.
• Counsel clients and patients in individual and group sessions to help them overcome dependencies, recover from illness, and adjust to life.
• Modify, monitor, evaluate, and record client progress according to measurable goals described in the treatment plan.
• Identify environmental impediments to client or patient progress through interviews and review of patient records.
• Organize support groups or counsel family members to assist them in understanding, dealing with, and supporting the patient.
• Plan and conduct programs to combat social problems, prevent substance abuse.
• Attend scheduled care conferences and identify and interpret psychosocial needs of patients for inclusion in the care plan, addressing in particular issues of schedule, treatment and environment that express and reinforce individuality and identity.
• Complete mandatory documentation within timelines established by applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in good standing with the State Board.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting, including experience in group facilitation, and working with youth.
• Strong understanding of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of mental and behavioral disorders.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in using clinical terminology, Microsoft Office, and EHR systems.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license, automobile insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
