Licensed Therapist

Licensed Trauma Therapist- Hybrid Position

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Trauma Therapist to join our behavioral health team as a Part-Time W-2 Therapist.

This position is ideal for a clinician who values flexibility while also wanting the stability, support, and structure of W-2 employment. The therapist will maintain a consistent caseload of approximately 15 clients per week and provide high-quality, trauma-informed mental health services to children, adults, families, and individuals with diverse behavioral health needs.

We are particularly interested in clinicians who enjoy working with clients during evening and weekend hours, when many individuals and families have greater availability for therapy.

Schedule

This is a part-time position with a consistent weekly schedule designed to accommodate clients who need evening and weekend appointments.

Therapists will be expected to provide one evening and one weekend day OR two evening shifts per week, based on mutual scheduling needs.

Evening Hours

Evening clinical hours are available Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM–8:00 PM.

Weekend Hours

Weekend clinical hours available on Saturdays from 9 AM-2PM.

Caseload

The therapist will maintain a target caseload of approximately 15 clients per week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent caseload of approximately 15 clients per week.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with clients.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy as appropriate.
• Provide trauma-focused treatment for PTSD, complex trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and related concerns.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization within the scope of professional licensure and training.
• Support children, adolescents, adults, older adults, individuals with autism or developmental disabilities, and other diverse populations.
• Utilize
• evidence-based therapeutic approaches appropriate to each client's needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Current license permitting clinical practice in Maryland and Washington, DC, such as LCSW,LGSW, LPC, LGPC, LMFT, or another applicable credential.
• Additional state licenses are encouraged.
• Experience providing trauma-informed therapy and working with PTSD, grief, crisis, and complex behavioral health needs.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, individuals with autism or developmental disabilities, adults, and older adults.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation, ICD-10/CPT coding, HIPAA, and electronic health records.
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment-planning, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain a consistent outpatient caseload.
• Comfortable providing services during evening and/or weekend hours.
• Strong commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and client-centered care.

• Provide in-person and telehealth services as appropriate.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, progress notes, treatment plans, and other required records.
• Utilize appropriate ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to applicable professional and organizational standards.
• Participate in clinical consultation and collaborate with other providers when appropriate.
• Communicate with families, caregivers, educators, medical professionals, social workers, and case managers when clinically appropriate and properly authorized.
• Participate in team meetings, quality improvement activities, and professional development opportunities as applicable.

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
