Full-Time W-2 Position | In-Person with Remote Work Potential

Restorative Pathways is seeking an experienced, fully licensed therapist to join our private forensic and behavioral health practice. We serve people involved with courts, community supervision, child welfare, and other formal systems, as well as voluntary clients seeking specialized care.

Our work addresses complex behavioral, relational, and trauma-related concerns while holding safety, accountability, dignity, and the possibility of meaningful change together.

About the Role

The position combines clinical group work with an individual caseload. Presenting concerns may include problematic or compulsive sexual behavior, trauma, harmful relationship patterns, emotional or behavioral dysregulation, and other complex behavioral health needs.

Restorative Pathways is a treatment practice, not a correctional or monitoring agency. Clinicians must understand the system context of a case while maintaining role clarity, sound professional boundaries, and the integrity of the therapeutic relationship.

Compensation and Benefits

The position begins with structured 60-day onboarding, training, and caseload development. During this period, the clinician is employed as a W-2 employee and receives a generous clinical rate for direct services, plus hourly compensation for documentation, training, coordination, and other required nonclinical work. Following the ramp, the position transitions to a full-time salary of $67,000-$74,000, based on directly relevant background and experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate structured clinical groups and manage group dynamics with consistency, sound judgment, and a clear therapeutic focus

• Provide individual psychotherapy to system-involved and voluntary clients

• Develop and carry out evidence-informed treatment plans responsive to clinical needs and safety concerns

• Complete timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation

• Communicate professionally with attorneys, probation and parole officers, caseworkers, treatment providers, and other systems partners when appropriate and authorized

• Participate in weekly consultation and coordinate with practice leadership and colleagues regarding client care and continuity

Qualifications

Required

• Current, unrestricted Missouri license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, licensed psychologist, or comparable independently licensed behavioral health professional

• Established post-graduate experience providing psychotherapy

• Prior professional experience with system-involved populations. Relevant backgrounds may include court-mandated treatment, probation or parole, corrections, DFS/DCFS or child welfare, residential treatment, forensic programs, community mental health, or comparable clinical settings

• Demonstrated experience facilitating clinical groups, including managing group process and maintaining therapeutic structure

• Strong clinical judgment, professional boundaries, and comfort working with sensitive or challenging material

• Reliability in documentation, communication, scheduling, and follow-through

• Committment to continued professional growth and development

Preferred

• Direct experience with forensic or offense-specific treatment, problematic or compulsive sexual behavior, risk-relevant treatment, trauma, or harmful relationship patterns is especially valuable.

• Current, unrestricted Illinois license as a behavioral health professional or willingness to become licensed

• Prior experience working with neurodivergent adults
