Licensed Therapist (Psychologist, MFT, LPCC, LCSW) $100-180 per session

Wander Psychotherapy, a small group private practice in San Diego, is looking for full time licensed therapists to join our team!

Wander Psychotherapy is a highly specialized practice focused on neurodiversity (working with ADHD, Autism, PDA and giftedness) and the LGBTQ+ community. We are proudly a queer and neurodivergent owned practice! We focus on trauma informed care and take a humanistic and client centered lens to each client interaction.

We currently offer individual therapy for adults, teens and children, couples/relationship therapy, family therapy, parent support/coaching, psychological assessments, and support groups. We are humanistically aligned and we are seeking to hire new clinicians on our team who are in line with our mission and values.

We are specifically seeking a clinician with an interest in working with parents of neurodivergent children, mixed-neurotype couples and an interest in running support/therapy groups.

Pay

• Individual therapy: $100-110/session (depending upon years licensed)
• Couple family therapy: $140-150/session (depending upon years licensed)
• Group therapy/ Support Groups: $170-180/session (depending on years licensed)
• Admin: $21/hour (please note this is a very administratively light role, very few admin hours are required for this position.)
• No shows and cancellations are paid at the clinical rate

• Average annual income for full time (23 hours a week) is between 121-131k (depending on years of experience) based on an average work week that includes a mix of individual and couples and one support group weekly.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have a valid license that is active (MFT, LCSW, LPCC, Clinical Psychologist)
• Must be willing to see at least 20 clients per week (schedule 22 to account for no shows/cancellations), with admin time this role is around 22-23 hours per week.
• Must be willing to work until 6pm two times per week (can be virtual or in-person) to accommodate working clients
• Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule (at least 1-2 days in-person)
• Looking for clinicians who are independent, driven, and collaborative with a team mindset
• Specifically seeking therapists passionate about our mission and values and niche areas
• Must be willing to see a range of ages ( teens, adults) and see individuals, couples and families/parents
• Must be willing to facilitate at least one group per week
