Job Description

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Schedule: Flexible — Clinician Chooses Their Own Hours

Position: Contract / Part-Time or Full-Time Availability

Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate, professional, and dependable Licensed Clinicians to join our team as independent contractors serving clients in the Colorado Springs area.

This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who value flexibility, autonomy, and work-life balance. As an independent contractor, you will have the freedom to establish your own schedule and determine the number of clients and hours you wish to work, based on client needs and availability.

Clinicians may have the opportunity to provide services in person, via telehealth, or through a combination of both, depending on program and client requirements.

Duties

  • Perform assessments to evaluate a variety of mental health and behavioral conditions to children, adolescents and adults. Develop an individualized, treatment plans to fit the needs of each client using appropriate diagnostic criteria.
  • Conduct individual, family, and group counseling, utilizing methods consistent with evidence based practice, using a brief, focal model of care when appropriate.
  • Maintain progress notes and other documentation required for the client medical record and utilization management within the timelines outlined by the agency
  • Completes required documentation and paperwork including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should have:

  • An active, unrestricted Colorado clinical license appropriate to the services being provided.
  • One of the following credentials, as applicable to the position:
  • LPC – Licensed Professional Counselor
  • LCSW – Licensed Clinical Social Worker
  • LMFT – Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
  • Licensed Psychologist
  • LAC – Licensed Addiction Counselor
  • Other independently licensed behavioral-health professionals whose credentials are appropriate for the services offered.
  • Master's or doctoral degree from an appropriately accredited program, as required for the applicable license.
  • Clinical experience appropriate to the population and services provided.

PREFERRED

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Applicant must have the ability to get credentialed with various insurance providers such as:

Medicaid, Medicare, Beacon/Kaiser, BCBS, Aetna, Cigna

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $60.00 per hour
