Private Practice Therapist Job Summary

Ammirati Counseling is growing group practice on the NorthShore of Chicago. We are highly trained experienced clinicians who offer quality and specialized care in a private practice setting. We enjoy working collaboratively on cases as we seek to meet the diverse needs of our clientle. We are looking for a skilled; Licensed Psychologist, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor who is willing to start part time with the option of moving to full time. The candidate must have a minimum of two years experience in providing individual therapy to children, adolescents and adults in a group practice setting.

Licensed Therapist Requirements

  • Minimum two years of post independent licensure experience upon completion of Masters Degree
  • Well - versed in at least (1) clinical treatment approach
  • Exercises a high level of intergrity and professionalism
  • Enjoys learning and growing their clinical clinical skill set and committed to building a positive work environment
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and has the ability to be assertive while maintaining composure and openness to feedback
  • Current license as an LMFT, ALMFT, LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, Master’s degree, or PsyD required.

  • Willing to provide an average of 15 direct client contact hours for part -time position
  • Willing to provide an average of 26 direct client contact hours for full time position

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy to clients, including children and youth, using evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, behavioral therapy, psychodynamic methods) and adapting to co-occurring disorders.
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in EMR/EHR systems in alignment with clinical standards.
  • Offer crisis intervention when needed, coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, and refer to additional services as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, ensure compliance with CPT coding, and monitor client safety and progress through regular evaluations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $71,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
