River in Eden Counseling is growing and seeking fully licensed New Jersey mental health clinicians who are passionate about providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed, patient-centered, and faith-integrated care.

We are a Christian-based counseling practice committed to supporting the emotional, mental, relational, and spiritual well-being of our patients. We serve a diverse population, with a particular commitment to BIPOC individuals, couples, and families and patients seeking therapy that can thoughtfully incorporate their Christian faith.

Who We’re Looking For

Applicants must:

• Hold an active, unrestricted New Jersey license as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
• Reside in New Jersey
• Be comfortable providing primarily virtual psychotherapy
• Be available to provide at least 8 clinical hours per week
• Be interested in beginning part-time with the opportunity to grow toward a fuller caseload
• Be comfortable with independent scheduling and caseload management
• Be willing to participate in marketing, professional networking, and other appropriate activities to help develop and sustain their caseload
• Be comfortable with electronic documentation, telehealth platforms, and practice-management systems
• Be willing to learn River in Eden Counseling procedures related to documentation, billing, and management of assigned patients
• Maintain timely, accurate, ethical, and clinically appropriate documentation

Preferred Clinical Experience

Experience or specialization in one or more of the following is a plus:

Trauma | Anxiety | Depression | Couples & Marriage | Family Therapy | Self-Esteem | Relationship Concerns | Faith-Based Counseling

Advanced training, certifications, established specialty areas, existing professional referral relationships, and an established caseload are highly valued.

Compensation

$60–$75 per completed clinical session

Compensation is based on the clinician's overall experience and the value they bring to the practice, including:

• Post-licensure clinical experience
• Specialty or niche expertise
• Advanced training and certifications
• Established professional referral relationships
• Ability to independently develop and sustain a caseload
• An existing caseload that may appropriately transition with the clinician
• Overall clinical and professional readiness

Compensation may be reviewed as the clinician's role, caseload, specialization, and contribution to the practice grow.
