Licensed Therapist (LMHC/LCSW/LMFT)

Job Summary

As a licensed mental health therapist at local business Greet Health, you will be a critical hire to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and contribute to our team. You will carry an active case load and be expected to actively contribute to staffing meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy to adults of all ages and backgrounds across the clinic's programs, following best practices in behavioral health and mental health counseling.
• Conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning, and revise treatment plans as clients progress.
• Deliver evidence-based care using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral activation (BA), interpersonal therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and other empirically supported treatments.
• Provide compassionate, client-centered care and build strong therapeutic relationships.
• Manage a consistent caseload, including scheduling, follow-up, and continuity of care between sessions.
• Recognize and respond to clinical crises, coordinating with supervisors and outside providers when a higher level of care is needed.
• Participate in supervision, case consultation, and team meetings, and contribute to peer learning.
• Coordinate care with primary care providers, psychiatrists, and community partners as needed for referrals and continuity.
• Maintain detailed, timely clinical records while ensuring confidentiality and security in accordance with HIPAA standards for all clients and 42 CFR Part 2 where applicable.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and stay current on developments in the field.

Required Qualifications

You must hold an active license in Florida as one of the following:

• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

You must also hold a master's or doctoral degree in mental health counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Preferred Experience

• Clinical experience in a behavioral health or mental health setting, preferably outpatient.
• Experience carrying an active outpatient caseload of adult clients.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and safety planning.
• Knowledge of clinical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and documentation processes.
• Hands-on experience conducting intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, individual/group counseling sessions, and psychotherapy.
• Knowledge of The Joint Commission's behavioral health standards would be beneficial.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
