Licensed Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC)

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) to join our dynamic mental health team in a private practice setting. Duties

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD and DSM coding standards to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy etc.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during emergencies.
• Facilitate intake appointments for new clients while maintaining accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards.
• Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines and ensuring patient confidentiality through secure EMR/EHR systems.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Active California clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent)
• Ability and willingness to maintain a caseload of 30–35 clients per week
• Proven experience in psychotherapy across diverse settings
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices
• Familiarity with ICD and DSM coding
• Excellent communication skills for client engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to manage crisis situations effectively while demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity
• Reliable and consistent availability
• Professional, ethical, and compassionate approach to patient care

Compensation and Benefits

• $50 - $55 per completed/held therapy session
• 30–35 client sessions per week
• $23 per hour for administrative work, up to 5 hours per week
• 6 paid sick days per year
• Minimum 2 days per week in the office for in-person sessions
• Availability for one consistent weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) is required.
