About the role
POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience in counseling and/or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to join our interdisciplinary pain management team.This role focuses on providing structured counseling to patients with chronic pain, addressing the psychological and behavioral components of pain, including stress, anxiety, depression, and insomnia.Prior experience in pain management is not required but preferred. We provide training in evidence-based pain management counseling techniques.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide individual counseling sessions via telehealth for patients with chronic pain
- Apply CBT-based approaches to address chronic pain coping, stress, anxiety, depression, and insomnia
- Deliver structured treatment plans (typically 6 sessions per patient to start)
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary medical team
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Attend on-site meetings a few times a month
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed LMFT or LCSW (required)
- Graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field
- Experience in counseling and/or CBT preferred
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills
- Comfortable providing care via telehealth

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
