We are seeking a dedicated Primary Therapist to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering effective and client-centered behavioral health services.
Job Summary:
As a Licensed Therapist at Recovery in Motion Treatment Center, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic services to individuals with behavioral health and substance abuse issues. You will play a pivotal role in assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for clients, as well as offering individual and group therapy sessions. The Primary Therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health and behavioral issues to determine their needs, strengths, and treatment goals.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and evidence-based practices.
- Individual and Group Therapy: Conduct therapy sessions, both one-on-one and group therapy, to help clients address their mental health challenges and develop coping skills.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate and document clients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide feedback to the treatment team.
- Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to ensure clients' safety and well-being.
- Collaborative Approach: Work closely with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other professionals to create a cohesive and comprehensive treatment approach.
- Family Involvement: Involve and educate clients' families in the treatment process and encourage their participation in therapy when appropriate.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards.
- Continuing Education: Stay informed about the latest developments in the field of behavioral health and attend relevant training and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Master's in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- Appropriate state licensure as a therapist (e.g., LISAC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.).
- Prior experience in behavioral health therapy is required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and analyze policies and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
State of Arizona license or registration to meet the requirements of qualified behavioral health professional.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
