About the role

New Beginnings Christian Counseling is a growing Christian private practice in Yorba Linda, California. We provide Christ-centered counseling that integrates biblical truth with evidence-based clinical care. We are looking for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who shares our values and is interested in building a meaningful clinical career within a supportive Christian professional community.

About the Role

The ideal therapist is a clinically competent, motivated Christian professional who enjoys working independently while also being part of a collaborative team. You should be comfortable integrating prayer, Scripture, and biblical principles into therapy when clinically appropriate and consistent with the client's goals and informed consent.

Our licensed therapists primarily provide individual therapy, with opportunities to work with couples, families, adolescents, and/or groups based on clinical interests and experience.

We value therapists who take initiative, communicate well, demonstrate professionalism, and are committed to continued clinical growth.

Ideal Candidate

  • Active California LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license in good standing.
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • A committed Christian who is comfortable practicing within a Christian counseling framework.
  • Comfortable incorporating prayer and Scripture into therapy when clinically appropriate and desired by the client.
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Trauma-informed clinical experience preferred.
  • EMDR training or certification preferred.
  • Experience working with couples, adolescents, or families preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Comfortable providing both in-person and telehealth services.
  • Willingness to provide in-person services at our Yorba Linda office at least 2 days per week, including an evening availability.

Compensation & Support

Therapists are compensated for clinical work as well as eligible administrative responsibilities related to client care and practice operations.
