Licensed Therapist - LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT | Flexible W-2 Position

Nightingale Counseling Services is hiring a Florida-licensed LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT for a flexible W-2 therapist position in Lakewood Ranch.

This position is ideal for a clinician who wants to continue doing meaningful therapy work while maintaining significant control over their schedule. It may be a particularly good fit for someone balancing family responsibilities, another professional role, a private practice, or simply looking for a smaller and more flexible caseload.

Who we serve

Our practice primarily works with adults and couples experiencing concerns including:

• Trauma
• Anxiety and overwhelm
• Relationship and communication difficulties
• Attachment and relationship patterns
• Life transitions
• Self-esteem and identity concerns
• Motherhood and perinatal concerns

We are especially interested in clinicians with experience or interest in trauma-focused therapy, EMDR, anxiety, couples and relationship work, attachment-based therapy, or perinatal mental health, although specialization in these areas is not required.

Ideal candidate

The ideal candidate is independently licensed in Florida and is looking for a flexible position where they can focus primarily on clinical work rather than running the administrative side of a private practice.

We are looking for someone who is:

• An active Florida LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT
• Warm, dependable, and clinically thoughtful
• Comfortable working independently
• Timely with documentation and communication
• Interested in being part of a small, growing therapy practice
• Looking for flexibility rather than a rigid full-time schedule

There is no minimum caseload, and clinicians can establish availability that works with their schedule.

Employment type: W-2, part-time

Compensation: $55 per completed client session

Schedule: Clinician-directed availability; no weekend requirement

Work setting: In-person and telehealth depending on client needs
