Licensed Therapist- Full-Time Salaried W-2 Employee

Blue Umbrella Psychiatry is hiring a full-time, salaried Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our established clinical team. This is a W-2 employee position—not an independent contractor or private-practice opportunity.

Blue Umbrella Psychiatry is a well-established and trusted mental health practice in our community, providing comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and adults. Our multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, therapists, and other mental health professionals working together to provide coordinated patient care.

We are looking for a fully licensed therapist who wants to focus on what they became a therapist to do—help people—without having to take on the responsibilities of owning and operating a private practice.

A Job, Not a Business to Build

As a salaried employee, you are hired to provide excellent clinical care. Our administrative team handles the business and operational side of the practice so that you can focus on your patients and your clinical work.

You will not be responsible for:

• Finding and marketing to your own patients
• Building your own private referral network
• Managing insurance billing or claims
• Collecting patient payments
• Managing your own scheduling
• Running your own office
• Managing marketing or social media for your own practice
• Handling the day-to-day business responsibilities of private practice

We handle the business. You focus on the clinical care.

About the Position

We are seeking a fully licensed mental health therapist who is compassionate, dependable, clinically strong, and interested in becoming a long-term member of our team.

This position requires an active, unrestricted Florida clinical license appropriate for independent practice. Applicants who are currently registered interns, pre-licensed, provisionally licensed, or working toward independent licensure are not eligible for this position.

Full licensure is required because this position includes participation in insurance credentialing and billing.

The ideal candidate:

• Holds an active Florida clinical license appropriate for independent practice
• LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or another appropriately licensed mental health professional
• Has experience providing individual therapy
• Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and professionalism
• Values collaboration with psychiatric providers
• Is comfortable working with a diverse patient population
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
• Enjoys working as part of a team rather than practicing in isolation
• Is dependable, accountable, and committed to quality patient care
• Wants the stability and support of employment rather than the responsibilities of operating a private practice
