About the role

Overview

Are you a like-minded and like-hearted therapist who believes healing is about more than managing symptoms?

Embracing Hope Counseling & Consulting is seeking a compassionate, grounded, and integrative therapist to join our practice. We primarily serve women of color who are navigating attachment related concerns, childhood trauma/emotional neglect, self-abandonment, codependency, identity confusion, relationship concerns, spiritual growth, and more.

We believe in treating the whole person—mind, body, spirit, and emotions.

We're looking for a therapist who shares this philosophy and wants to do meaningful clinical work within a supportive, collaborative, and sustainable practice.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Provide virtual psychotherapy to adult women, couples, and/or families
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain timely documentation
  • Build meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients
  • Participate in team meetings and clinical collaboration
  • Maintain a minimum of 15 client sessions per week

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Master's Degree or higher in counseling, social work or related field
  • Fully unrestricted Georgia license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.)
  • Minimum 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience
  • Experience in practicing with evidence-based therapies
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills with cultural sensitivity
  • Evening and/or weekend availability
  • Telehealth experience

Preferred

  • Experience with trauma, attachment, childhood emotional neglect, codependency, or relationship concerns
  • Specialty Trainings (i.e. EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Therapy, etc.)
  • A clearly defined specialty or niche aligned with our practice

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Flexible scheduling
  • Fee-for-service compensation
  • Credentialing and billing support
  • Ongoing support and collaboration
  • A practice culture that values boundaries, sustainability, and clinician wellbeing

You became a therapist because you want to help people—not spend your days managing billing, credentialing, and administrative tasks. We handle the administrative side so you can focus on your clients.

THIS MAY BE A GREAT FIT IF...

You believe clients are more than a diagnosis.

You enjoy helping women reconnect with themselves, heal old patterns, and develop greater self-trust.

You value holistic, integrative care.

You want autonomy without feeling like you're practicing alone.

And you want to work with a team that cares about how we serve our clients and how we care for ourselves!
