About the Opportunity

Caring Conversations Center is seeking independently licensed therapists to join our growing virtual group practice as 1099 independent contractors.

This opportunity is ideal for therapists who value clinical independence while benefiting from the administrative support, professional community, and resources of an established group practice. Therapists maintain control over their availability and caseload while providing high-quality virtual care to clients.

Compensation

Clinicians are paid $85 per completed session after payment has been received from the insurance company or self-pay client. Eligible payments are processed weekly through Square.

This is a 1099 independent-contractor position. Clinicians are responsible for their own taxes, benefits, professional expenses, and insurance.

Building Your Caseload

Clinicians are responsible for actively marketing their services and developing their caseload. Caring Conversations Center will also forward appropriate inquiries and referrals received from prospective clients located in the clinician’s licensed state.

Responsibilities

• Market your professional services and help develop a sustainable caseload
• Provide remote individual, couples, or family therapy within your education, training, licensure, and authorized scope of practice
• Complete intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation accurately and on time
• Participate in required group consultation or practice meetings
• Maintain dependable availability for scheduled appointments
• Follow all ethical, legal, clinical, confidentiality, and telehealth requirements
• Participate in training, case consultation, and professional development
• Maintain all required professional licenses, insurance, and credentials

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related behavioral-health field
• Active, unrestricted, independently licensed clinical credential in at least one eligible state
• Examples may include LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LPC, LCPC, LMFT, or the state-equivalent credential
• Ability to practice independently without clinical supervision
• Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and inclusive care
• Ability to work independently in a office/remote setting
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Willingness to learn within the clinical and operational systems of a private practice
• Access to a private, secure, and HIPAA-appropriate location for telehealth sessions
• Reliable computer and internet access
• Current professional liability insurance

Pay: $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
