Join us at Calm Waters Counseling! We are a passionate, faith-oriented, client-centered private practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate mental health care. We serve individuals, couples, and families with a wide range of psychotherapy needs. Our faith-based team values authenticity, flexibility, and clinical excellence.
We are currently seeking skilled Licensed Therapists to join us as a part-time employee. This is an ideal opportunity for a clinician who desires the freedom of private practice without the burden of overhead, admin, or marketing. We also provide you with insurance credentialing.

Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, or family therapy (depending on your scope)
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Coordinate and manage your own schedule and responsibilities with clients
- Maintain ethical and legal standards in compliance with state licensing boards
- Participate in occasional team meetings or consultation (optional but encouraged)
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy
- Active License in the state of CA (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, PhD)
- Strong clinical skills to address a variety of therapeutic needs
- Reliable internet and private space (for remote telehealth)
- Willingness to work 8–20+ client hours per week (you set your ideal number)
Bonus Qualifications (not required)
- EMDR or trauma-informed certification
- Bilingual (especially Spanish, Mandarin, or ASL)
- Paneled with insurance (optional – or we’ll credential you)

Pay: $50.00 - $120.00 per hour
