About the role
Adult Therapist (Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC) – McLean, VA
Georgetown Psychology is a well-established, multi-office private practice serving children, adolescents, and adults across the DC metro area. We are seeking a licensed adult therapist to join our team. This position is ideal for a clinician who loves working with older adolescents, college students, adults, and couples, values learning and collaboration, and wants to be part of a thoughtful, supportive clinical community. You’ll have the opportunity to build a caseload that aligns with your interests and expertise, while being supported by an experienced leadership and administrative team.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy to adults, with opportunity to work with adolescents, couples and families (if interested).
- Utilize evidence-based, identity-affirming interventions tailored to each client
- Complete timely clinical documentation
- Participate in a weekly consultation group with our clinical team
- Provide presentations in the community (if interested)
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with neurodiverse adults (e.g., ADHD, autism)
- Experience working with couples
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Licensed in Virginia (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist)
- For psychologists, authority to practice telepsychology under PSYPACT (preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment, warmth, and professionalism
- Commitment to ongoing learning and training

Schedule: Part-time or full-time options available (weekday and weekend hours available)
