Duties

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs, strengths, and challenges to develop personalized care plans.
  • Deliver crisis intervention and crisis management services to stabilize clients during urgent situations.
  • Provide addiction counseling and behavioral health support to promote recovery and well-being.
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to motivate clients toward positive behavioral changes.
  • Assist clients with navigating social programs such as Section 8 housing, Medicare, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns, fostering professional growth within the team.
  • Collaborate with community partners, healthcare providers, and child welfare agencies to coordinate services effectively.
  • Support clients in childcare planning, family stabilization efforts, and accessing mental health resources.
  • Maintain detailed case documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.

Experience

  • Valid licensure as a Social Worker (LCSW or equivalent) required.
  • Proven experience in crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavioral health settings.
  • Strong background in addiction counseling and child welfare services.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring staff or interns is preferred.
  • Familiarity with programs such as Section 8 housing, Medicare, and workforce development initiatives is highly desirable.
