The Institute for Personal Growth (IPG) is seeking a New Jersey–licensed psychotherapist to work with adolescents, adults, and/or couples 5–25 hours per week, both virtually and in person at our Jersey City office.

IPG is a supervision- and training-based group practice committed to helping clinicians grow professionally. In addition to providing traditional psychotherapy, therapists who are interested can deepen existing skills or receive training in specialty areas including:

• Couples and family therapy
• LGBTQI+ issues
• Eating disorders
• Sex therapy

We welcome LSWs, LCSWs, LACs, LPCs, and LMFTs to apply, and we provide free clinical supervision. Spanish/English clinicians are especially encouraged to apply.

This is a fee-for-service position with the potential to become full-time for the right candidate. Full-time therapists see approximately 25 clients per week and are eligible for health benefits and a 401(k).

Duties

• Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy using appropriate evidence-based and integrative therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in regular supervision and training to strengthen clinical skills and professional development.
• Attend four staff meetings per year: two in person and two virtually.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current New Jersey license or credential as an LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, or LMFT.
• Experience providing face-to-face psychotherapy or counseling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.
• Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.
• A genuine willingness to learn, grow, and be part of a collaborative and dynamic clinical team.

Pay: $65.00 - $90.00 per hour
