Licensed Psychotherapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) Remote – CA | Clinical Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Psychotherapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) to join our dynamic team as a Clinical Supervisor in a remote setting serving California. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will oversee patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and ensure high-quality care across individual, group, and family therapy sessions. Your expertise will guide clinical staff in delivering evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). This position emphasizes clinical leadership, supervision, and collaboration within a supportive environment committed to client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision to Associate therapists and mental health professionals, fostering professional growth and ensuring adherence to best practices
• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for clients across pediatric and adult populations, including those with neurodevelopmental disorders, co-occurring disorders, and substance use challenges
• Deliver individual and group psychotherapy utilizing evidence-based modalities such as CBT, behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care (including PTSD), and social work principles
• Manage crisis intervention situations with prompt response and effective de-escalation techniques to ensure client safety
• Collaborate with families, schools (special education), and community agencies to coordinate comprehensive care plans
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems; ensure timely updates of medical records and coding (ICD-10/ICD-9)
• Lead clinical team meetings to review case progress, implement treatment strategies, and promote a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as an LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) in California
• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in mental health or behavioral health settings
• Strong background in evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavioral management techniques
• Experience managing crisis situations through crisis management protocols and crisis intervention skills
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR platforms for medical documentation; knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes
• 2 years of supervisory experience leading clinical teams or providing clinical supervision to licensed staff or Associates.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, ICD coding systems (ICD-10/ICD-9), and working with electronic health records management systems
• Excellent patient assessment skills combined with strong communication abilities for client engagement and family collaboration
• Management skills that support case management activities while maintaining high standards of patient care

Pay: $115,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
