Licensed Psychologist, Social Worker, or Counselor; Pre-Licensed Psychologist for Private Practice

Oak Leaf Trauma and Wellness Center is a boutique practice in Monmouth County, NJ, specializing in trauma-informed treatment for adults and teens. We are currently seeking a compassionate, dedicated Licensed Psychotherapist or Pre-Licensed Psychologist to join our growing team.

At Oak Leaf, we believe in doing meaningful clinical work without the burnout of a large practice environment. We offer our therapists manageable caseloads, specialized focus, administrative support, and opportunities for professional growth. This is a hybrid role requiring a mix of telehealth and in-person sessions at our Freehold office, as well as some evening availability to accommodate client schedules. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and deliver individual psychotherapy to adults and teens.
• Provide treatment for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, maternal mental health, and related challenges.
• Complete progress notes and other clinical documentation in a timely manner.
• Actively participate in group or individual consultation meetings.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral Degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) or Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling (LCSW or LPC).
• A valid New Jersey state license to practice as an independent psychotherapist.
• Pre-licensed psychologists actively working toward licensure are encouraged to apply as well, and supervision towards licensure will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability for at least 12-15 hours weekly.
• No concurrent employment in another private practice.

Preferred Experience:

• Training in trauma-informed treatments such as EMDR, ART, Cognitive Processing Therapy, or Internal Family Systems
• Experience working with complex trauma and/or maternal mental health
