Licensed Psychologist, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW | South Tampa

Tampa Therapy is seeking a licensed clinician to join our boutique, private-pay psychotherapy practice. This 1099 independent contractor position offers annual compensation potential of $80,000–$110,000, depending on caseload size and license type, along with clinical autonomy, established referrals, and comprehensive administrative support.

Clinicians should be prepared to begin with at least eight weekly clients and grow toward 24–30 clients per week, depending on their capacity and financial goals. We believe excellent therapy requires time, attention, and clinicians who feel supported in their work.

Clinical Focus & Qualifications

Our clinicians provide evidence-based psychotherapy in person and through secure telehealth. Candidates should primarily work with adults and have experience treating:

• Trauma and PTSD.
• Anxiety and depression.
• Self-esteem concerns.
• Couples and relationship concerns.
• Postpartum mood disorders.
• Life transitions and emotional burnout.

EMDR training or certification is highly desirable. Experience with children and adolescents, and previous private practice experience are preferred.

Applicants must hold an active Florida license as a Psychologist, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW, be in good standing with their licensing board, and carry professional liability insurance before starting.

Clinicians who currently own or actively practice in another private practice within the Tampa Bay area will not be considered unless desiring to fully join our team.

Available Clinical Blocks

• Morning: Monday–Saturday, 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
• Midday: Monday–Saturday, 12:30–3:30 p.m.
• Late afternoon/evening: Monday–Thursday, 3:30–7:30 p.m.

Clinicians select the blocks that comprise their consistent weekly schedule. Each block includes no more than four consecutive client appointments. Dependable availability and scheduling reliability are essential.
