Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our mental health services team. In this role, you will provide expert psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, trauma, behavioral issues, and co-occurring disorders. You will play a vital role in developing personalized treatment plans, conducting comprehensive assessments, and delivering evidence-based therapies across various settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, and through telehealth platforms. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to inform treatment planning.
• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and art therapy tailored to individual client needs.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage emergency situations with professionalism and sensitivity.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions focused on child & youth therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, and other specialized areas.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate medical documentation standards and clinical ethical guidelines.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
• Engage in clinical research and data collection efforts to support continuous improvement of treatment approaches and outcomes.
• Provide telehealth therapy services utilizing secure platforms to expand access to mental health care for diverse populations.
• Participate in case management activities including patient assessment, treatment coordination, and follow-up care for individuals with co-occurring disorders or complex needs such as autism spectrum disorder or chronic pain conditions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy or related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent credential.
• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and individuals with disabilities in outpatient or inpatient settings.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), psychopharmacology considerations, and crisis management techniques.
• Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), medical terminology, and clinical documentation standards.
• Experience delivering telehealth services using HIPAA-compliant platforms is highly preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines and confidentiality requirements.
• Excellent communication skills for client engagement, team collaboration, and documentation accuracy.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 35.0 per week
