Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is fluent in Spanish to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, trauma, behavioral issues, and co-occurring disorders through evidence-based practices. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and intake evaluations utilizing clinical documentation standards and ICD coding (ICD-9, ICD-10) to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, grief counseling, and art therapy tailored to client needs.
• Deliver specialized services such as child & family counseling, pediatric therapy, autism spectrum disorder interventions, gender issues counseling, and addiction counseling.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques and crisis intervention strategies to manage acute situations effectively while ensuring client safety.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions across outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth settings with a focus on social work principles and behavior management.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines using EMR/EHR systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management, treatment planning, patient assessment, and research initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent credential with active licensure status.
• Fluency in Spanish with excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience working with Spanish-speaking populations is essential.
• Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral health interventions, and addiction counseling.
• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, co-occurring disorders, PTSD care, chronic pain management, Geriatrics, or special education environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), medical terminology, clinical documentation standards, CPT coding for billing purposes, and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems.
• Experience delivering telehealth therapy services along with inpatient or outpatient clinical experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis management skills while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice principles aligned with HIPAA compliance and clinical ethical guidelines ensuring high-quality patient care.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
