Licensed Professional Counselor

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor to join our residential detox and outpatient mental health and substance abuse facility. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing behavioral health services, conducting mental health assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate clients' psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific circumstances and goals.
• Provide individual, group, or family counseling sessions focused on behavioral health, mental health, and addiction recovery.
• Document clinical interactions accurately and thoroughly within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Offer addiction counseling services as part of integrated treatment approaches for substance use disorders.
• Monitor clients' progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support clients’ recovery journeys.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, ethical standards, and confidentiality regulations related to mental health practice.

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent credential.
• Experience in behavioral health settings, particularly with mental health assessments and treatment planning.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation practices using EMR/EHR systems.
• Experience or training in addiction counseling is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients alike.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of work.

Pay: $66,820.81 - $80,472.38 per year
