Licensed Professional Counselor / LPCC / LMHC

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate clinician to join our mental health team with one of the following licenses (independent license ; cannot be under supervision):

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy and clinical counseling services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in individuals’ lives while working within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment committed to excellence in patient care. This is a 1099 position with flexible hours. Clinician has the option to work anywhere between 10-40 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for clients across various settings.
• Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to individual needs.
• Manage crisis interventions and crisis management procedures to ensure client safety and stability during emergencies.
• Document all clinical encounters accurately within electronic medical records (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) - license cannot require supervision.
• Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, or behavioral health settings.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation tools such as ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems and CPT coding for billing purposes.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, medical terminology, and medical records management.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to perform patient care tasks such as patient assessment and group therapy facilitation effectively.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care.

Pay: $1,800.00 - $7,200.00 per month
