Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Associate (LPC-Associate)

Job Description

An immediate full-time position is available for a Licensed Professional Counselor (or LPC-Intern) in our private practice clinic. The therapist will be responsible for scheduling and performing initial intake interviews with clients, conducting individual and group psychotherapy sessions, and providing any related documentation in a timely and organized manner. In addition, the therapist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to manage the client's care and implementation of treatment.

• This full-time, salary, position is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Qualified candidates must have a Master's Degree in Counseling or a related behavioral science field.
• Health, dental and vision benefits are available following 60 days of employment.
• Clinical supervision for LPC temporary licensure is available on site and included in this job position, if needed

Company:

Center for Pain Rehabilitation is an outpatient multidisciplinary pain management program, designed to effectively treat clients experiencing chronic pain and other stress related disorders. Our holistic treatment approach includes medical, behavioral, physical and vocational services. Behavioral intervention in our private practice setting is provided by a therapist, through both individual and group psychotherapy sessions. These sessions are designed to address the complexities of the pain experience and implement individualized treatment plans with our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Establish open lines of communication with clients experiencing mental or emotional issues
• Offer assistance and consult with individuals suffering from pain disorders with related psychological conditions
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to review and implement appropriate treatment goals for the client
• Provide rehabilitation-oriented therapy through both group and individual counseling services
• Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in counseling
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients and case manage their treatment process
• Strong leadership qualities and ability to work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
