Job Summary:

As a therapist in our private practice, you will work with a diverse range of clients to provide individual and/or couples therapy, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

You will be responsible for managing a caseload, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and offering ongoing support.

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic clinician who is passionate about helping others improve their mental and emotional health in a private practice setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy to clients with various mental health needs.

Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and others appropriate to client needs.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation.

Develop and implement interventions that support clients' mental health goals and help them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship issues, and more.

Collaborate with other team members (if applicable) to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.

Stay current with professional development and best practices in the field of psychotherapy. Ensure compliance with ethical standards, legal requirements, and confidentiality regulations.

Provide crisis intervention as needed and make referrals to other providers or resources when appropriate.

Participate in supervision or consultation (if applicable) to enhance professional growth and clinical skills.

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in CounselingActive state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LLPC/LLC).

Previous experience providing therapy in a clinical or private practice setting is preferred but not required.

Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Ability to develop strong rapport with clients and demonstrate empathy, respect, and professionalism.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload independently.

Ability to work with diverse populations and address a variety of mental health issues. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Specializations or certifications in areas such as trauma, addiction, eating disorders, or child/adolescent therapy are a plus.

Experience with or interest in working with specific populations (e.g., couples, children, LGBTQIA+, etc.).

Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

Previous experience working for a Community Mental Health provider is a plus but not required.
