$48,750 Annualized at 25 Hours Per Week
Contract payments will be made on the 1st and 15th of each month in accordance with AAYHF's established payment procedures.
The position is being established initially on a part-time contract basis as AAYHF continues to expand behavioral health and Equine-Assisted Therapy services in Manor and the Greater Austin/Travis County area.
AAYHF anticipates significant growth in the number of children, adolescents, families, and trauma survivors requiring these services. Therefore, this contract position has the opportunity to expand to full-time hours within approximately 90 days, based upon client demand, program growth, funding availability, contractor performance, and organizational need.
The contract rate and/or scope of work may also be reviewed as the program grows, taking into consideration:
- Professional counseling experience
- Equine-Assisted Therapy / Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy experience
- Advanced clinical training
- Equine-specific certifications and credentials
- Performance and quality of services
- Expanded responsibilities
- Client caseload and program demand
- Funding availability
AAYHF is seeking a professional who is interested not simply in accepting a part-time contract assignment, but in helping us build and grow an innovative Equine-Assisted Therapy program serving children, families, and victims and survivors of trauma.
