Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for clients struggling with substance abuse
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
• Collect data on client progress and outcomes to inform treatment decisions
• Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to support behavior change
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote peer support and recovery

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of social work principles and practices
• Proficiency in medical records management and documentation
• Experience in mental health counseling, particularly in the area of substance abuse
• Ability to collect and analyze data to inform treatment planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective counseling sessions
• Knowledge of crisis management techniques to address immediate client needs
• Understanding of applied behavior analysis principles for behavior change interventions

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
