Brilliant Care is a behavioral health and intensive outpatient program (IOP) committed to helping individuals achieve lasting recovery and mental wellness. We provide evidence-based, client-centered treatment in a collaborative, supportive environment, and we're looking for a licensed clinician to join our counseling team.

Position Summary

Brilliant Care is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor to provide individual, group, and family counseling to clients in our IOP and outpatient behavioral health programs. This role is open to candidates holding any of the following licenses: LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LISAC (Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor), or LIAC (Licensed Independent Addiction Counselor).

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, etc.)
• Conduct clinical assessments, diagnose behavioral health and substance use disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups within the IOP curriculum
• Monitor and document client progress, updating treatment plans as clinically indicated
• Collaborate with case managers, medical staff, and the multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate comprehensive care
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state licensing boards, HIPAA, and Brilliant Care policies
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning as needed
• Participate in clinical supervision, treatment team meetings, and case consultations
• Support discharge planning and coordinate referrals for continued care

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license in the state of AZ as an LPC, LCSW, LISAC, or LIAC (required)
• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health conditions strongly preferred
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and group facilitation
• Strong clinical documentation and time-management skills
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
