Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) to join our dynamic team with opportunities for growth. The LPC-A will provide clinical counseling services under supervision, utilizing evidence-based practices to support clients' mental health and well-being. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and behavioral therapy.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure client safety and manage acute situations effectively.
• Engage in case management activities, including patient care coordination and progress monitoring through EMR/EHR systems.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while ensuring compliance with telehealth therapy standards.
• Engage in 1:1 supervision 1x per week to discuss caseload.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clients with co-occurring disorders, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, and other complex needs.

Skills

• Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and social work principles.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for diagnostic evaluation and medical records documentation.
• Familiarity with crisis management protocols, behavior management strategies, and trauma-focused interventions.
• Ability to conduct mental health assessments and treatment planning within evidence-based practice frameworks.
• Experience working in outpatient or inpatient settings with a focus on pediatrics or geriatrics is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for client engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
