About Sunshine Counseling

Sunshine Counseling is a growing private practice dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered, and holistic mental health care to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. The Opportunity

I'm seeking an independently licensed LPCC or LISW who is passionate about building meaningful therapeutic relationships and providing individualized, evidence-based care. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position that offers the flexibility of private practice without the stress of managing billing, credentialing, or marketing on your own.

Sunshine Counseling has an active referral stream and a growing waitlist, giving you the opportunity to begin building your caseload with support from the practice.

Our referrals commonly include:

• Anxiety
• Depression and mood-related concerns
• Trauma and PTSD
• Life transitions and adjustment-related challenges
• Relationship concerns
• Emotional regulation
• Stress management
• Self-esteem concerns
• Children and adolescent behavioral concerns

Some clients also seek faith-integrated or Christian counseling. While this is not required, clinicians who are comfortable incorporating a client's faith into therapy when requested are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults.
• Complete assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation in a timely manner.
• Deliver ethical, evidence-based, and person-centered care.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with other providers when clinically appropriate.
• Build and maintain a caseload while providing high-quality outpatient services.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio LPCC or LISW license in good standing.
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Passion for person-centered, holistic, and evidence-based care.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and/or families is preferred.
• Training in EMDR, DBT, play therapy, trauma-informed care, or other specialty modalities is a plus but not required.
