Licensed Outpatient Senior Clinician - Hybrid Remote

|| About the Role ||

We are seeking an experienced, licensed Senior Outpatient Clinician to join our dynamic clinical team. This is an elevated position within our outpatient program — ideal for a seasoned clinician ready to take on greater clinical leadership while continuing to deliver high-quality, direct care. In addition to a clinical caseload, the Senior Clinician will play a meaningful role in supporting clinical oversight, peer consultation, and service authorization across the team.

|| Key Responsibilities ||

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, ongoing reassessments, and deliver individual and group therapy to clients presenting with mental health and/or substance use disorders
• Utilize clinical assessment data to formulate and support DSM-5 diagnoses and drive individualized, client-centered treatment planning
• Assist in the clinical supervision and mentorship of outpatient clinicians, including co-signing documentation, providing case consultation, and supporting staff development
• Review and approve clinical services, including treatment plans, authorizations, and documentation to ensure quality, compliance, and continuity of care
• Establish baselines through urinalysis and monitor client progress toward treatment goals
• Recognize crisis indicators and employ effective de-escalation strategies; coordinate safety planning as needed
• Collaborate actively with the multidisciplinary treatment team and community partners to coordinate holistic client care
• Manage discharge planning and transitions of care in partnership with clients and referral sources
• Maintain concurrent, accurate, and timely documentation within the agency's electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Uphold professional standards and code of ethics; actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives

|| Qualifications ||

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
• Active Connecticut clinical licensure required: LCSW, LMFT, or LPC
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient behavioral health setting
• Demonstrated experience with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
• Prior experience with clinical supervision, case consultation, or service authorization strongly preferred
• Fluency in English and Spanish is highly preferred
• Strong cultural competence and demonstrated ability to work with diverse, underserved populations
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and concurrent documentation
