Are you tired of being treated like a billing machine? Most agencies measure success by how many bodies you can get in the room. They push you to see 30, 32, or even 35 clients a week until you are running on empty.

At Restorative Psychotherapy, we believe you cannot serve marginalized communities on an assembly line. We are an Autistic-led, boutique practice specifically focused on serving those who have been marginalized, including Neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, Immigrant, and intersectional identities.

We are looking for a therapist ready to trade "churn and burn" for deep, meaningful clinical work.

The Boutique Difference

• Sustainable Caseload: Our definition of full-time is 24 clients per week. We prioritize your sanity and quality of care. (You are welcome to see more if you choose, but it will never be a requirement.)
• Hybrid Flexibility: A mix of in-person sessions at our St. Paul office and telehealth.
• Free Clinical Supervision: We cover the cost of your supervision — including supervised hours that count toward independent licensure (LICSW/LPCC/LMFT) for pre-licensed clinicians. We believe mentorship is our responsibility, not your expense.
• Paid Admin Time: We pay a separate administrative rate for paperwork, staff meetings, and training.
• Real Autonomy: You are not a cog in a machine here. We want your voice and input to help shape the future direction of the clinic.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for "Clinical Humility." We don't need you to know everything, but we need you to be willing to learn. The ideal candidate might currently be working in Community Mental Health or a high-volume agency and is looking for a place to finally breathe and do their best work.

• You are humble: You view the client as the expert on their own experience.
• You are authentic: You want to work in a space that rejects rigid, compliance-based therapy norms.
• You are self-directed: You know when to consult, but you trust your clinical gut enough to navigate sessions independently.
• You are passionate: You have a specific interest in serving marginalized communities (Autism/ADHD, LGBTQ+, Immigrant/Refugee, Trauma).

Required: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology. Open to licensed and pre-licensed therapists — we accept LP, LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, and pre-licensed candidates working toward licensure in Minnesota.

About Restorative Psychotherapy

Restorative Psychotherapy is an autistic, queer-allied led practice in St. Paul, MN, providing talk therapy, somatic and trauma-informed care (including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy), and skills work for clients ages 10 and up. We specialize in supporting neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, and other marginalized and intersectional identities, and every new client starts with a free 15-minute consultation to make sure our approach is the right fit.

Compensation & Benefits

• Clinical Rate: $55 – $64 per 50-minute session (W2) plus pay for your admin time.
• Full Benefits: Health and Dental insurance included for full-time roles. PTO and paid holidays for both P/T and F/T.
• Admin Rate: $20 per hour for paperwork/meetings/training
• Supervision: Fully covered in-house or via stipend, including hours toward independent licensure
• Schedule: Fully flexible — no required days or hours. Therapists set their own schedule as long as an average caseload of 24 clients is maintained, across daytime, evening, or weekend availability as they choose.
