Bay Area Mental Health (BAMH) is a boutique group practice in Campbell, California, providing individual, couples, family and group therapy, medication management, a comprehensive DBT program, and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.

Position Overview

BAMH is seeking a passionate, collaborative, and growth-minded therapist to join our clinical team. We welcome both independently licensed clinicians and registered associates working toward licensure.

This position is ideal for a clinician who wants the autonomy and flexibility of private practice while being part of a supportive, interdisciplinary team. We provide a steady stream of referrals and work closely with clinicians to develop caseloads that align with their interests, strengths, and ideal client populations.

The position will begin part-time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role if desired. Some evening and weekend availability is required. Candidates must not currently operate their own private practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and confidential psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
• Facilitate therapy groups
• Complete intake assessments, treatment planning, and termination/discharge responsibilities
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and scheduling using practice software
• Coordinate client care with psychiatrists and other providers as appropriate
• Participate in clinical staff meetings, case consultation, and interdisciplinary treatment planning
• Maintain all applicable professional, ethical, and legal requirements
• Collaborate effectively with clinicians, administrative staff, and practice leadership
• Remain flexible and receptive to change as the practice continues to grow
• Perform other duties as reasonably necessary to support client care and practice operations

Required Qualifications

• Current California independent clinical license or active associate registration in good standing (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PhD, PsyD, AMFT, ASW, or APCC, as applicable)
• Training and/or experience in DBT
• Experience or interest in facilitating therapy groups
• Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week
• Availability for some evening and weekend hours
• Strong clinical, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Training, experience, or strong interest in trauma-informed treatment modalities
• Ability to see clients in person at least two days per week at our Campbell office
• Previous experience working in a community mental health setting
• Independent, motivated, collaborative, and growth-oriented

Pay: $50.00 - $85.00 per hour
