Residential Counselor / Behavioral Health Clinician

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled counseling professional to join our Residential Program. The ideal candidate will have experience working in human services and providing counseling services for individuals with substance use and/or behavioral health disorders.

Essential Responsibilities

• Complete client intake, assessments, admissions, and treatment recommendations.
• Determine eligibility and level of care based on diagnostic and program criteria.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling services.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups as assigned.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor client progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation, including assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Communicate program expectations and provide client and family education.
• Collaborate with treatment team members and community providers to ensure quality client care.

What We’re Looking For...

• Licensure: Must hold one of the following Connecticut licenses: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LADC, LPCA, LMFTA, or LMSW.
• Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or a related Social Sciences field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with electronic medical records systems is preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
