About the Practice
We are a growing private practice specializing in trauma treatment, with a strong focus on EMDR and somatic-based approaches. Our clinicians are dedicated to providing high-quality, trauma-informed care to individuals and the broader community. In addition to individual therapy services, we host bimonthly workshops focused on psychoeducation, healing, and resilience-building.
Position Overview
We are seeking a fully licensed therapist with specialized training in trauma to join our EMDR/somatic trauma therapy clinic. This role involves providing trauma-focused therapy in a private practice setting, with both in-person and telehealth (hybrid) options available. The ideal candidate is compassionate, clinically skilled, and aligned with integrative, body-based approaches to healing trauma.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy, with an emphasis on EMDR and/or somatic modalities
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in case consultations as needed
- Optionally facilitate or co-facilitate group therapy sessions
- Contribute to or participate in bimonthly community workshops
Qualifications
- Fully licensed mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD) in [State]
- Formal training and experience in trauma-focused treatment modalities, particularly EMDR and/or somatic therapies
- Previous experience working with trauma populations required
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- EMDR-trained or certified (or actively working toward certification)
- Experience facilitating group therapy
- Availability for evening and/or weekend sessions
- Interest in community outreach and psychoeducational programming
