We are seeking a motivated, compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team. This is a W-2 position with full-time preferred; however, part-time opportunities may be considered for the right candidate.

Our practice serves Mooresville and the surrounding Lake Norman communities, providing outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.

What You'll Do

As a therapist with Carolina Blue Skies Counseling, you will provide outpatient mental health services to clients experiencing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, life transitions, behavioral concerns, and other mental health needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing individual therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults
• Working with families and caregivers when clinically appropriate
• Completing clinical assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborating with a supportive team of clinicians
• Helping clients achieve meaningful, lasting change

Compensation & Professional Support

Our compensation model is designed to reward clinical experience, consistent caseload development, and high-quality client care.

• Associate Licensed Clinicians: $37–$45 per completed clinical session
• Fully Licensed Clinicians: $43–$55 per completed clinical session
• Administrative work: $15/hour for approved non-clinical responsibilities, including documentation outside of session time, website blog writing, community outreach, marketing initiatives, and other practice projects

Qualifications

Required:

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related mental health field
• Active North Carolina license in good standing:
• LCMHC / LCMHCA
• LCSW / LCSWA
• LMFT or equivalent
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
• Commitment to ethical, client-centered care

Preferred:

Experience or training in one or more of the following areas:

• Children, adolescents, and families
• Anxiety and OCD
• ADHD
• Trauma-focused therapy
• EMDR
• DBT
• Perinatal mental health
• Couples or relationship therapy
• Other specialized areas of practice
